The Inspector I position will ensure acceptable standards of quality are achieved during fabrication by strict visual, dimensional, and NDE inspection of components and products.
Main Job Duties / Responsibilities
Ensure acceptable standards of quality are achieved during fabrication by strict visual, dimensional, and NDE inspection of components and products in accordance with drawings, standards, and specifications .
Setup and perform MT, PT, and VT examinations and interpret results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifocations.
Calibrate measuring and inspection equipment.
Report abnormal conditions of equipment to supervision.
Qualifications
Must be SNT-TC-1A Level II in VT, MT, and PT.
Must pass Jaeger 1 and Color Contrast Differentiation tests .
Capable of lifting 50 lbs. up to waist.
Requires 24 months minimum of job-related work experience.
